Anti-Tarnish vs Gold Plated: The Honest Difference
Gold-plated jewellery is a base metal with a thin gold layer on top. It looks identical on day one. The difference shows around month three, when the plating thins and the metal underneath starts to react.
Non-tarnish steel has no plating to wear through. If you prefer the warmth of real brass and don't mind a patina, our handcrafted brass jewellery is the better fit — just know brass darkens with wear, and that's normal rather than a fault.
Safe for Sensitive Skin, and Easy to Care For
