Return, Refund & Exchange Policy

 

At Hashtack, we take great care in ensuring that every order is carefully inspected before dispatch. Due to the nature of our products and hygiene considerations, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for reasons such as change of mind, incorrect selection, dislike of the product, sizing preferences, delayed delivery, or any other non-quality-related concerns.

Damaged or Defective Items

We only accept refund requests for products that are received damaged or broken during transit.

To be eligible for a refund, customers must:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of receiving the order.
  • Email us at contact@hashtack.in with:
  • Order number
  • Full name
  • Contact details
  • Clear photographs and/or videos of the damaged or broken product Photographs of the product packaging, if applicable.

Claims submitted after 48 hours of delivery will not be eligible for review.

Return Process for Approved Damage Claims

If your claim is approved, you will be required to return the damaged product to us at the address provided by our customer support team.

Please note:

  • Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipment.
  • We do not provide reverse pickup services.
  • The product must be returned in its original condition along with all packaging, tags, and accessories, if applicable.

Exchanges

While we do not offer returns for change of mind, we may offer an exchange for a different product or style, subject to stock availability.

To request an exchange, customers must email contact@hashtack.in with their order number and details of the item they wish to exchange.

 

Please note:

  •   Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipment of the original item.
  • We do not provide reverse pickup services. The item must be returned unused, unworn, and in its original packaging.
  • Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will process the exchange request.
  • Customers will be responsible for paying the shipping charges for the replacement item being sent by Hashtack.
  • Any price difference between the original item and the exchanged item must be paid before dispatch.
  • If the exchanged item is of a lower value, the difference may be issued as store credit at Hashtack's discretion.
  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability at the time the returned item is received.
  • Each order is eligible for only one exchange. Products received through an exchange are not eligible for further exchanges, returns, or refunds

Hashtack reserves the right to refuse an exchange request if the returned item does not meet the conditions outlined above.

 

Refunds

Once the returned product has been received and inspected by our team, we will notify you of the outcome.

If the claim is approved, a refund will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your payment provider.

Shipping charges, COD charges, duties, taxes, and other service fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

 

Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:

  • Sale and clearance items
  • Products purchased during promotional offers, discount campaigns, or special sales events
  • Customized, personalized, or made-to-order products
  • Gift cards and store credits
  • Products showing signs of wear, use, alteration, or damage caused after delivery
  • Products returned without prior approval from our customer support team

 

Handmade Product Disclaimer

Many of our products are handcrafted using materials such as resin, wood, brass, beads, fabric, natural fibers, and other artisan techniques.

As a result, slight variations in color, texture, grain, finish, shape, size, bead placement, handcrafted detailing, and natural imperfections may occur. These variations are inherent characteristics of handmade products and contribute to their unique beauty.

Such variations shall not be considered defects, damages, or grounds for return, exchange, refund, or replacement. Product colors may also appear slightly different due to lighting conditions, photography, screen settings, and device displays.
